Weibel Secures Follow-On Order for Two Additional 47dB Radar Systems for Major Asian Defense Program

Weibel is proud to announce the receipt of purchase orders for two additional 47dB radar systems from a long-standing customer in Asia. These systems will be delivered as part of the same high-profile defense program that previously ordered two identical systems, currently under production.

The new radars will be configured for naval use, delivered complete with trailers, deck adapters, and inertial navigation systems (INS). This latest order brings the total number of Weibel radars delivered or contracted for this program to four 47dB systems and one 45dB system — a clear testament to the customer’s continued trust in Weibel’s cutting-edge radar technology and our proven ability to deliver on time for large-scale defense programs.

Delivery of the first two 47dB systems is scheduled for 2027 and 2028, with the newly ordered systems set for delivery in 2028 and 2029.

This significant milestone reflects years of dedicated collaboration, technical excellence, and on-the-ground commitment in supporting the customer throughout the initial phases of the program.
