Advanced discrimination and identification
Weibel’s long-range radar technology, operating in the X-band frequency, is highly suitable for today’s advanced ground-based ballistic missile defense systems. The radars can be integrated with and operate with allied and NATO Ballistic Missile Defense Systems (BMDS).
The Gap Filling Tracking Radar (GFTR) is based on technology that has been used for more than two decades to track long range missiles, ballistic missiles and warheads. The GFTR provides long-range tracking, separation of multiple objects and a very high track consistency (track continuity) at a competitive cost and is easily integrated into any BMD system.
Through international partnerships, the already advanced technology is being further enhanced and provides a significant boost to critical BMD systems.
